Joshua’s style of therapy emphasizes creating a warm, safe, and secure environment. Research consistently shows the therapeutic relationship is the most important factor for positive results.

When asked, patients often share with Joshua that he is easy to talk to, understands his patients on a deeper level, challenges his patients in a way that is warm, caring, and not judgmental or criticizing, and provides a refreshing, non-toxic male perspective.

Joshua is a graduate of Ball State University where he earned his Masters degree in Counseling Psychology and his Bachelor’s degree in Psychological Science.

Prior to opening his private practice, Joshua served as an outpatient therapist at a group private practice. Josh’s experience includes working with victims and survivors of trauma, abuse, and neglect at a community mental health center, helping college students at the Ball State Counseling Center, and the completion of an internship at a domestic violence shelter and a suicide hotline.
